    Hello I am Vivashal Singh your English Teacher. We are exploring the context Treasures of New Zealand and we will explore the power of "STATIC IMAGE" 

    A STATIC IMAGE is a picture that has multiple meaning or you have the ability to extract a deeper meaning from it. 

    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • uses a range of oral, written, and visual features to create meaning and effect and to sustain interest
    • uses a range of vocabulary to communicate precise meaning

    • achieves some coherence and wholeness when constructing texts
    • organises and sequences ideas and information for a particular purpose or effect

    Activities:

     1. What does the word Treasure mean to you ? Is it material or something invisible ? You will unpack the word and write a brief description what treasure means to you. You will use a few pictures associated with the word treasure
