- We are FOCUSING on Developing our own Spanish alphabet, defining the Spanish words through visuals
Hola these weeks you will create a visual presentation that demonstrates the different sounds in the Spanish language, represented by the letters of the Spanish alphabet. Your presentation should include visuals that illustrate each sound, along with audio recordings that demonstrate the correct pronunciation of each letter and its corresponding sound.

During our next two sessions, we will be working on and finishing the second part of our assessment.
Part 2: Spanish-speaking country project
Choose any country where Spanish is the main language to research.
You choose how to display/present the information, eg. poster, PowerPoint, etc. - be original!!!!
Your project must include:
The name of your chosen country in a prominent position
A world map showing the location of your chosen country
Flag of the country –picture-meaning of the flag
Currency - the name of the currency, pictures of currency
Capital – population of the city, picture of the city, and at least one popular/historical destination one should see while visiting the city
Two famous people from the country – name, date of birth, death date (if dead), why they are famous, picture of the person
Three popular tourist destinations – include pictures, what makes it a popular destination, and any other interesting or important information about the destination
Two holidays/customs celebrated in this country – explain the holiday, custom, or tradition, when it is celebrated, and why, including pictures.
Typical foods – include some typical foods eaten in the country, including pictures
Dance – what dances are home to this country and/or popular in this country, include the name and description of the dance, video clip if available.
Music – talk about at least one style/genre of music that is native to your country, include names of musical instruments used, popular musicians/bands in this genre, and a clip of musical genre/style if available
