10W2 PEH Assessment 1: Responsible Behaviours

During this term, your learning context has been Tamaki-makau-rau. In Global, English and PEH, we have been exploring Auckland’s natural and cultural setting, as well as leadership and interpersonal skills through Te Ao Maori (Maori worldview). Particularly in PEH you have been partaking in a variety of activities where you have taken these interpersonal skills and applied them to maintain physical and emotional safety in the outdoors, in turn understanding how these skills become responsible behaviours. During class time, you have had opportunities to develop your understanding of the different responsible behaviours, and demonstrated them during practical sessions. You will now be assessed on how well you demonstrate four of these responsible behaviours and how well you can explain the impact of these behaviours on safety during whitewater rafting and high ropes.
