This week 2nd checkpoint is due
Geography ā discuss the geography of the country, talk about some major land formations /bodies of water found in this country (rainforests, lakes, rivers, oceans, mountain ranges, volcanoes, waterfalls), including names and pictures of places
Demographics/People ā population, nationality, ethnic groups, languages are spoken in the country, religions practised, and include pictures of people from your country
Currency - the name of the currency, the exchange rate to NZ dollars, the picture of currency
Capital ā population of the city, the picture of the city, and at least one popular/historical destination one should see while visiting the city
Two famous people from the country ā name, date of birth, death date (if dead), why they are famous, the picture of the person
Three popular tourist destinations ā include pictures, which makes it a popular destination, and any other interesting or important information about the destination

This week the collecting of the information for the assessment is finish.
1. Two holidays/customs celebrated in this country ā explain the holiday, custom, or tradition, when is it celebrated and why, including pictures.
2. Typical foods ā include some typical foods eaten in the country, including pictures and at least one recipe.
3. Dance ā what dances are home to this country and/or popular in this country, including the name and description of the dance, video clip if available
