Each year learners are supported by their Learning Advisor, Parents/Caregivers to develop goals for the year. Having goals and a plan to achieve them is an important part of believing in yourself, believing you can make a difference = growing a resilient mindset and growing learning-focused relationships.
Learners will write a sentence(s) to describe each goal. The goals need to be SMART and will be presented on your Holistic Report.

Wananga Wednesday
Wananga Wednesday is an opportunity for students to plan their own timetable and focus on the work that they see as important.
To help students with this teachers will provide must do and can do activities each week for every learning area. Teachers will also have the opportunity to book workshops for targeted students across year levels.
Work requirements/Responsibilities :
Curriculum: I will be using Focus Friday to manage my existing curriculum
Workshops: I will need to attend all the workshops I am invited to, this is compulsory.
E-learning: You will be told by your Learning advisor if you have to attend the class to make sure you are up to date with your e-learning in W10. Silent room: If you prefer to work in a space that is quiet, you can work in W10. This will also be for students who struggle to manage themselves during Wananga Wednesday . -
