    7W1 in Music with Mr Bartlett

    7W2 in Drama with Miss Shields


    Every Friday session one, whole term:

    7W1 & 7W2 combined Dance in the theatre


    Activities

    • Introductions, tour of the music space & expectations

    • Exploring the question: What is music? (Identifying our prior knowledge)

    • Games that introduce and demonstrate the musical elements


    Success criteria - you can/have...

    • Name everybody in the class!

    • Perform examples of different musical elements - rhythm, beat, tempo & pitch

    • Perform simple rhythms on your own and as part of a small group
