This week we will explore the Earth's structure, atmosphere, natural processes, and place in the solar system. By studying the land, sea, and sky, we gain a deeper understanding of the planet’s complex systems, including weather patterns, geological activity, and natural cycles.

This learning connects to the concept of 'Mana Whakatipu', which is about growing and nurturing one’s power, potential, and sense of belonging within the world. Just as 'Mana Whakatipu' is about fostering a strong relationship with our surroundings, learning about Planet Earth encourages us to respect and protect our environment. We recognize our role in caring for the land, seas, and skies, embracing the responsibility of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) for future generations.
