    Learning Intention:

    We are learning about the different components of fitness and the changes that occur in our bodies, so we can understand the internal forces in our body and work to be healthier/happier individuals.

     

    Success Criteria:

     
    • Identify the components of the FITT principle.

    • List the way in which you are currently physically active.

    • Describe ways in which you can be active but enjoy such physical activity.

    • Describe a FITT goal in which you can spend the term working towards

     


    • Explain the importance of understanding fitness strategies in order to improve your health

     
    • Evaluate your ability to work towards your own fitness goal and how you achieved this this term.

     


    Term 1 CONTEXT - May the force be with you . . . 


    WEDNESDAY - Health/Theory

    Today we will further discuss the written component of your assessment. Your assessment template is on your google classroom. 

    We will brainstorm and look at a few sentence starters for the final question of your assessment.

    How has regular involvement in physical activity improved your own well-being?

    (you need to discuss at least 3 out of the 4 well-being components)


    THURSDAY - Practical (gym)

    I am away today. You will have a practical session with a sole fitness focus.

    FRIDAY - Practical (field)

    We will continue on our fitness focus today - we will complete a fitness 'game'. Reminder of the participation and readiness aspect of your goal.
