Learning Intention:
We are learning about the different components of fitness and the changes that occur in our bodies, so we can understand the internal forces in our body and work to be healthier/happier individuals.
Success Criteria:

Identify the components of the FITT principle.

List the way in which you are currently physically active.

Describe ways in which you can be active but enjoy such physical activity.

Describe a FITT goal in which you can spend the term working towards

Explain the importance of understanding fitness strategies in order to improve your health

Evaluate your ability to work towards your own fitness goal and how you achieved this this term.
Term 1 CONTEXT - May the force be with you . . .
WEDNESDAY - Health/Theory
Today we will begin our new context for this term.

4.) Looking at the info-graph below . . . write the recommendations for kids your age for sleep, activity and screen-time in your books. This is taken from the 2007 Health and Wellbeing of Secondary School Students in NZ.
5.) Do you meet these recommendations? Yes or no and why?
6.) Now, interpret the below graph. What would you say about the average kiwi teen and their activity levels? (Good vs. Bad) Explain in a TEXAS paragraph. Also how do you compare to the average kiwi?
