    Kia ora 9M2. As part of our context where we are planning to create our own cultural design, this week we will be looking into the concept of perimeter.

    • Solve problems involving the perimeter of different shapes.
    • Solve problems involving the circumference of a circle.
    • Identify parts of a circle.

    Hei Mahi / Activities:

    1. Do Now- Factors, Square roots, Unit conversions.
    2. Write the definition of the term - Perimeter and circumference. Create a sentence with these two words.
    3. Complete the questions on perimeter  of simple 2D shapes and rectilinear shapes from Dr Frost- 64a,64b, 180a, 180b.
    4. Copy notes on circle- Parts of a circle, circumference of a circle. 
    5. Complete the questions from DrFrost on Circumference of a circle- 209 a, b, c, d, e
    6. Complete the task on EP
    7. Group 1- a) complete the worded problems from Beta book on 3D shapes b) complete the questions on Dr Frost- Surface area & Volume
    8. Maria- Use Dr Frost to Read and write numbers.
