    This term we start looking at performances, but to begin our term we are celebrating New Zealand Music Month.

    Activities:

    • Testing our prior knowledge of NZ music - what do we already know?
    • Exploration of NZ Music - listening to a range of songs from different periods in NZ history
    • Practicing a NZ song/waiata


    • Success criteria:

    • Identify a range of different NZ music artists and their songs
    • Explain the cultural/historical/social significance of some of these songs
