FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

• This term in Takutai / Coast Whānau we are exploring “how human events may promote Kotahitanga”. We have explored Kotahitanga - unity, togetherness, solidarity, oneness, collective action. For the do part of the assessment opportunity students were involved in a sports education module. Students will use the movement context of Volleyball, have a specific role within their team and then identify two movement strategies that will support them to ultimately demonstrate Kotahitanga.
• We are FOCUSING...on the report writing component where they are explaining their performance, answering relevant questions that have a focus on when Kotahitanga was demonstrated.
