    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

      • We are PLANNING... to design a Wānaga Wednesday seminar so that we can...apply and promote our knowledge of equitable outcomes.
        • We are PLANNING... to attend a special Olympics basketball game in Pakuranga so we can share our knowledge and experience with others
        • We are PLANNING... to reflect on experiences and perspectives from taking part in an inter class Paralympics challenge and examine how technology can improve access and experience.

        • Activities:  Watch the Netflix documentary " Rising Phoenix" to understand and empathise 
        • Get class into 5 teams ( name them after 5 nations that recieved the least medals at 2012 London Olympics
        • Participate in 5 different able & disabled sports and compare each one
        • The 5 sports are Basketball, benchball, volleyball, football, cyciling

          • We are EXPLORING...exploring, researching and recognising technological adaptations in sport to give competitive advantages
          • We are EXPLORING...how to empathise, discover and conceptualise what it is like to have a disability
