PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

- We are PLANNING... to attend all 4 lesson on Ki-Rahi presented by the organisation Ki-O-Rahi Tamaki Makaura at MHJC so that we can...prepare, perform, design and construct an innovative presentation of Traditional Maori Games to our whanau at our end of term Matariki celebrations.
- We are also learning about other traditional Maori games as well and collaborating this knowledge with our other subjects and linking this to Tikana.
We are applying this knowledge to prepare and create a Boucher that promotes this game and shares this with others. Students will collaborate in small groups to practise the game and then apply this to a tournament against another class and also teach this as well.

We are FOCUSING...Enhancing our knowledge of Tikana through playing different traditional Maori games

- We are focussing on a collaborative effort in small teams to present Traditional Maori Games and teach others how to play it.
