    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING to apply our understanding of our context of Matariki through our Maths assessment where you will solve problems by understanding the Matauranga Maori vocabulary knowledge
      • We are PLANNING to apply our understanding of our context of Matariki by creating Maori koru/kowhaiwhai  designs using the concepts of symmetry-reflection, rotation and translation.


      • SC- I can
        • Understand the Maori vocabulary used in my Maths Assessment
        • Understand the concept of reflection, rotation and translation.
        • Research and create my own Koru designs and patterns using symmetry, reflection, rotation and translation.
