Learning Intentions:
- Exploring traditional/cultural games from another country
- Identify interpersonal skills in a team sport - Leadership, effective communication, supporting and encouraging others, active participation, teamwork, sportsmanship
Success Criteria:
- Teach and lead a traditional/cultural game from another country
- Describe and demonstrate what the six interpersonal skills are
- Reflect on the traditional/cultural games and how you demonstrated the interpersonal skills
PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:
- We are PLANNING to create a digital slide to present your chosen game to the class
- We are PLANNING to teach our chosen game to the class
- We are PLANNING to demonstrate the interpersonal skills in the team sports/games
FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:
- We are FOCUSING on identifying one traditional/cultural sport/game from another country
- We are FOCUSING on defining and explaining six interpersonal skills - Active participation, leadership, supporting and encouraging others, effective communication, sportsmanship and teamwork
REFLECT / WHAIWHAKAARO learning intentions:
- We are REFLECTING on how we demonstrated each interpersonal skill and the positive impact it has during PE lessons
