    • WEEK 2

    • Please work on your planning at home and sew at school this week as your assessment is due next week.

    • MHJC Great Ako Learning Plan:

      FOCUS Learning Intentions  and  
      PLAN & DO /Making Learning Intentions

        • We are FOCUSING ..on transferring our design from our drawing onto our fabric 

        • We are MAKING our bag by applying our chosen design onto our fabric using the chosen fabric decoration methods and constructing the bag following the instruction cards or teacher

        • We are PLANNING out how we construct the tote bag by planning and recording our progress each lesson
    Success Criteria:
    I can/have completed activities in the Journal on GC.
    I can/have sketched out what I plan to apply to my fabric
    I can / have applied my design to my fabric
    I can/ i have constructed my bag following the instructions on GC.
    I can/ I have recorded my progress each lesson in my planning diary

    Activities:
    Complete the activities in the Journal on GC 1-6
    Create a design sketch of what you want to make / apply to your fabric.
    Apply design to your fabric.
    Make = Sew your bag together - follow instructions given by the teacher or use the laminated instruction cards.

    Work on your assessment each lesson at least 10 minutes - See No 7 in Totel Bag Challenge doc.

    ASSESSMENT IS DUE WEEK 3  - as agreed in class - Wednesday 2nd August  8pm

    Once this is done please focus on completing all the GC activities set from last term. As we will be starting our Sleepwear Challenge shortly - making PJ Boxers.

    Extension for 3 Students: Submit planning doc for your zipped case in the same place as the rest of the class. Same Assessment criteria just a different outcome.
    Please make sure all your GC activities from last term are completed and turned in before you get your Sweatshirt Challenge Doc.
