welcome to Week 7 of Term 1! This week we will be starting to look at the science behind making certain foods. We start off by looking at baking ingredients. This week we are looking at flour.

You should be able to:
- list some different kinds of flour
- understand the 2 main protein components that flour is made up of
- know what gluten is and why some people cannot eat it
- comprehend what the difference is between wholemeal and white flour and which is healthier and why
- make sponge cake with your group
