    I hope you are excited about Week 5 of Term 1!

    For Fabric Technology, we finish decorating the face masks and finishing off attaching the elastic straps. We will need to iron the design on to ensure it has set and will not wash out. We will also revisit the assessment.

    For Food Technology, we are going to discuss food technology terms and definitions. We will test our knowledge afterwards by playing a Kahoot! We will also be learning how to grill chicken patties and enjoy some yummy chicken burgers. 


    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    Fabric Technology:

    • use fabric paint and/or fabric markers to decorate the face masks
    • attached the elastic straps
    • ironed my design to set it
    • continue working on completing the assessment


    Food Technology:

    • explain food technology terms and definitions 
    • work safely and hygienically in the kitchen
