This week, we will focus in identifying and explaining the verbal and non-verbal techniques used in static images.
We will also learn what symbolism means and identify and explain the symbolism in the static images we will study.
FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:
- We are FOCUSING developing verbal and non-verbal (visual) language skills
- We are FOCUSING explaining symbolism in static images (identifying the main message)
Success Criteria: I can/have...
- name the non-verbal(visual) techniques used in the static image
- name the verbal techniques used in the static image
- explain the reasons for using these techniques
- define the word symbolism
- identify and explain the symbolism in the static images -what is the idea and mood conveyed by the static image?
