This term we will learn about Astronomy, Space and Matariki, plan and write Haiku poetry, work in groups to create and plan a skit,and start speeches planning with a focus on oral language skills.

FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

We are FOCUSING on reading comprehension skills by selecting, identifying and explaining main ideas.
We are FOCUSING on figurative/poetic language by selecting, identifying, discussing, clarifying and explaining main ideas and key words

Activities and resources will be on google classroom. Miss Twemlow will be sharing resources and activities. You will also be writing Haikus on the messages of Kindness and Being Upstanders.
