    • Understand the meaning of the equals sign.
    • Use a rule to solve a problem
    • Use our understanding of numbers and the equals sign to find the missing numbers in an equation.

    Activities:

    1. Do Now- Ludi
    2. Day 1- Complete Activity 1 and Activity 2 from the document Equations and Rule in your notebooks. Then complete the Task- Balancing
    3. Day 2- Complete Activity 3 from the document Equations and Rules. Then complete the questions on Functions Machines.
    4. Day 4- Complete the questions on Solving Equations.

    Group 1 &2- You will be completing the Rich Tasks from the 3A Caxton book and then Completing the tasks in your folder on Function Machine and Solving multi-step equations.
