EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:
- We are EXPLORING... Navigational skills using maps and compasses
- We are EXPLORING... MHJC and our local community by foot and on bikes to discover and locate landmarks and routes
- We are EXPLORING... the great outdoors by observing our surroundings in Orienteering and on Bikes
Success criteria:
- I will be able to..... read/ interpret an Orienteering map and work with my group to discover and locate landmarks and routes in completing the course
- I will be able to..... ride a bicycle (improve your cycling skills and knowledge), learn about road and bike safety whilst completing the bikes in schools programme to the best of your ability
Activities for this week:
Monday: Bikes in Schools programme - Remember your PE gear, closed shoes, hat, rain jacket, water bottle and a nutritious lunch
