    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING to collect data so that we can identify marine species at Goat iSLAND Marine Resere
    • We are PLANNING to display data so that information is displayed effectively
    • We are learning to analyse data by calculating mean, median, mode and range.

    Tuesday:  Statistical data: Mean, Median, Mode and Range

    Mean: (average) sum of the values 
                                             number of values


    Median: 1. Place the numbers in order (smallest to largest)
                         2. Find the number in the middle 


    Mode: the Mode is the most common number / the number that occurs most frequently

    Wednesday: Frequency tables 



    Thursday: Start with LUDI
