Kia ora 8F1.  This week we continue our Number focus in an attempt to help us explore the ‘Goat Island Marine Reserve: Te Taha Wairoa' .

Authentic Outcomes:  Snorkelling and attendance at the Goat Island Marine Education Centre.  Social action, working towards a more sustainable future.

• Identify place value of whole and decimal numbers
• Multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1000, etc
• Make reasonable approximations and estimations
• Round significant figures
• Make conversions between decimals and %'s and vice versa
