    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI

    PLAN  and DO learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING...so that we can plan out how to make our bag and identify our Key Stage we will follow
    • We are MAKING/DOING...so that we make our bag - construct/make using the correct techniques and processes.

    Success Criteria:

    I can/have planned out how I will make my bag - transferring/applying design and sewing the bag

    I can/have identified the Key Stages I will follow to make my bag and have filled in the planning table.

    I can/have constructed/made my bag by following the steps in the TOTE BAG CHALLENGE step by step guide to making a tote bag.

    Activities:

    1. Transfer design idea onto fabric. Apply design using the chosen Fabric Decoration method that you trialled.

    2. Construct your bag following the instructions in the step by step guide to making a TOTE BAG on GC

    3. Complete your planning table in the Journal document. Remember that the table (No 7) is what you are getting assessed on.

    4. Check that your Assessment Doc is fully completed. Your answers should be in a different colour.

    5. Iron you fabric decoration if you have used paint to heat set it - use blank paper between the iron and paint.

    5. Insert an image of your finished bag alongside your Planning table in the doc. Upload by the due date on MHO. Aiming for end of Week 3.
