PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

- We are PLANNING... to design and construct a list of pre test fitness components We will then collaborate with class peers to perform these pre tests so that we can...plan a list of fitness component set goals to enable us to practise, prepare and perform for for our Post test results. These results will promote our knowledge of movement skills that we can share with our peers and whanau. With knowledge of Social and cultural factors impacting participation students will then compare and contrast people’s cultural and social needs when participating in physical activity.
FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

- We are FOCUSING...on being able to describe the different components of fitness and how different sports require varied aspects of these.
- We are FOCUSING...on comparing our pre and post test results
- We are FOCUSING...on responding to this pre test data to develop set goals to aim for when completing the post test at the end of the term
EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

- We are EXPLORING...how to analyse and classify the different components of fitness and connect this to what fitness is required for a F1 driver
- We are EXPLORING...how to measure and recognise our own levels of fitness through the concepts of the different components of fitness
- We are EXPLORING...movement skills and the components of fitness to discover set and end of term fitness goal. We will investigate Social and cultural factors impacting participation students will then interpret people’s cultural and social needs when participating in physical activity.
Success Criteria: I can/have...
- Completed the copy and pasting of the components of fitness methods
- Completed the copy and pasting of the components of fitness methods
- Completed the pre tests
- Take my pulse rate and complete the accurate calculation of heart rates
- Set achievable goals for my post test in week 9
- Started on a fitness schedule linked to my goals
Activities:
- Start on the Barriers and enablers to participation in physical activities
- Start on my personnel training programme
Homework:
- Start on the assessment aspect of the barriers that affect me doing physical activities and enablers that enhance me doing physical activities.
