- We are PLANNING... to visit several different natural areas in our local community and participate in different physical activities in nature so that we can... apply the research and learning that we have completed in class
FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:
- We are FOCUSING...on how to describe the multiple benefits that getting out into nature and participating in activities in nature has on our Hauora
- We are FOCUSING...on identifying areas in our local community where you can access nature and participate in activities to enhance your Hauora
- We are FOCUSING...on trying to adapt and evolve this concept into our lifestyle and try to prioritise this so we are able to transform our mindset into a more healthy Hauora
EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:
- We are EXPLORING...To recognise and discover how regular participation in nature can have a positive affect on your Hauora
- We are EXPLORING...How to integrate and access nature in our community and how to make the connection between this and a healthy Hauora
- We are EXPLORING...The research available on how regular participation in nature can have a positive affect on your Hauora
Success Criteria: I can/have...
- Completed The 5 article reading and reviews on google classroom
- Explain verbally and in written form how activities in nature enhance your Hauora....complete the practise assignment
- I have looked at the assessment criteria and also the exemplars given on google classroom and understand how to complete this to a yr 9 level
