WEEK 1

EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

• We are EXPLORING...what is a tote bag and finding out that there are many ways to personolise them.
• We are EXPLORING...the different methods of Fabric Decoration that we might use (experimenting)
• We are EXPLORING these Fabric Decoration methods and discovering the PMI of some of these
• We are EXPLORING... design ideas and how we can transfer this onto our fabric

Week 1 - Learning Intentions. We will need to recap where we are up to in this process. 

We will work our way through the Totel Bag Challenge Journal (see GC) that you have already started on last term. There may also be some time to look at different Fabric Decorating methods.

Success Criteria:

I can/have  continued towork my way through my journal. 

I can/have investigated  and experimented with some of the different Fabric Decoration Methods (created some samples).

I can/have completed a PMI on at least 3 of these.

I can/have considered which Fabric Decoration Methods will go with design ideas.

Activities:

1. Complete the Tote Journal activities 1-4

2. Put all samples into Journal - scan and insert.

3. Complete 5-7.
