    We will dive into our context this term.

    Learning Intention:

     We are developing our understanding of historical games/sports that have shaped our own personal histories and that of New Zealand.

    Success Criteria
    • List games, activities, sports that are found in NZ culture and then list games, activities, and sports that are found in your culture.
    • Understand how different cultures have different sports that lead to our own personal histories.
    • Participate in a variety of activities from NZ Maori Culture.
    • Participate in a variety of activities from overseas cultures.
    • Find ways in which these different cultural activities and lead to creations of very different personal histories around the world.

     

     


    Term 1 CONTEXT - TAONGA

    MONDAY - In-class

    We will look at our assessment and go through the aspects of Hauora.  Depending on timing you will have time to begin your plate brainstorm.

    Remember the checkpoints for this assessment.


    WEDNESDAY - Practical session

    Continue with our cultural games but this time we will look at another country - Canada.
