    • A broad understanding of classification based on cells (uni/multi) and backbone (vertebrate/invertebrate) with examples


    Activities:

    1. Why do we need to classify - Record responses on board
    2. Come up as a class, with a criteria to classify living and non-living things
    3. Attempt living, dead or never lived activity
    4. Copy a simple classification key based on vertebrates/invertebrates and uni/multi cellular
    5. Design a simple key to classify writing tools - pens, pencils, whiteboard markers etc
