    We will dive into our context this term.

    Learning Intention:

     We are developing our understanding of historical games/sports that have shaped our own personal histories and that of New Zealand.

    Success Criteria

    • List games, activities, sports that are found in NZ culture and then list games, activities, and sports that are found in your culture.
    • Understand how different cultures have different sports that lead to our own personal histories.
    • Participate in a variety of activities from NZ Maori Culture.
    • Participate in a variety of activities from overseas cultures.
    • Find ways in which these different cultural activities and lead to creations of very different personal histories around the world.

    Today we will talk about your assessment and review the Hauora concepts to help you.  You will have time to begin.

    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING on presenting our own cultural games so that we can demonstrate our understanding of how important games are in different cultures.
    • We are PLANNING our own community resource to help others' eating patterns.
