    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING to complete our training of the different skills so that we can apply our skills to play basketball and create a trick shot tiktok clip.

    Context - Going Viral with TikTok.

    Achievement objective:  

    Movement skills (4B1)

    • Demonstrate consistency and control of movement in a range of situations.

    This term we will be focussing on different types of movement skills. We will be doing pre and post-tests on the following skills. 

    1. Passing a Basketball successfully  20 times hitting a target. 

    2. Dribbling a basketball while running over 25 meters with control.

    3. Doing 20 basketball "free" throws

    4. Playing basketball


    Learning Intentions: We are learning to (WALT)...

    • Understand and demonstrate the basic technique of passing and catching a Basketball 
    • Understand and demonstrate the basic technique of dribbling a basketball.
    • Understand and demonstrate the basic technique of performing a basketball "free throw"  
    • Understand and participate in a game of basketball.

    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • Apply the basic motor skill of successfully passing and catching a basketball.
    • Apply the basic motor skill of successfully dribbling a basketball 
    • Apply the basic motor skill of successfully performing a basketball "free throw"
    • Apply the basic motor skill of successfully participating in a game of Basketball

    Activities:

    • Post Testing - Basketball Shooting.

    You will be tested the following days: If you are not being tested you are working on your trickshot video
