  • Welcome to Week 6 of Term 1! This week we will be starting to look at the science behind making muffins. We start off by looking at the ingredient: flour.

    Success Criteria:

    You should be able to:

    - list some different kinds of flour

    - understand the 2 main components that flour is made up of

    - know what gluten is and why some people cannot eat it

    - comprehend what the difference is between wholemeal and white flour and which is healthier and why

    - make muffins in your group of 4

    2. Making muffins
