Welcome back to Term 3. The next week will be an introduction to an exciting Market Day.Please note that Market Day takes place at the end of this term.Week 8 this term. I will communicate the date with you in class.

Explore a range of advertisements from local newspapers, videos etc to gain an understanding of what is a market place.
Understand the different types of markets.
Understand the terms consumers and producers and determine what is their role involves in the market place.
Understand what is target audience

Developed extensive knowledge of core key terms that would assist my understanding of market day.
Understand the role local markets plays in our community.
Define and describe what is a target audience
Activities:
1. Define: Street market and farmers market
2. Vocab box : Distribution, Markets, Buyers (Consumers), Sellers, Prices, Goods and Services, Sales Revenue, Costs, Profits, Marketing, Transaction, Consumer Rights, etc
3.Ideas generation: Having a theme could make easier decisions eg: Christmas
4. Survey the Whanau to determine what target audience wants -develop questionnaire ((think of Friday fun day and the food trucks)
5. SWOT for final Market Day product
