  • Week 1


    Welcome back to Term 3. This week we start our new context: Eat More Veg - Putting More Plants on our Plate!

    Learning intention  

    This term we are looking at another strand of the Food Technology Curriculum known as Technology Knowledge. As part of our learning we will begin  understanding concepts from real-life examples and evaluating and critiquing other technologists products. This week we are spending both sessions in planning - reviewing last term's work, checking on assessment deadline, understanding the curriculum, introduction to the new context, and understanding the role of sensory evaluation.

    Success criteria

    • Ready to hand in my two-part assessment - due on Friday 
    • Completed an evaluation from last term
    • Thought about teamwork and team members going forward
    • Understood from the overview the direction we are taking 
    • Starting to understand the strands within the Food Tech curriculum
    • Read and understood sensory evaluation
