  • WELCOME to 10C2PEH!   :-)

    We will start our new context this week.

    Learning Intention:

     We are learning how to stay safe in the future as we graduate MHJC and continue on to future education and become young adults.

     

    Success Criteria

    • Define the different types changes in puberty
    • Understand the different aspects of the human reproductive systems
    • Understand the impact of personal choice as we go through puberty
    • Explore how the media can impact someone's well-being with respect to who they identify as.
    • Evaluate the topic of sexuality, media, and peer pressure.

     

     


    LOCKDOWN

    Please make sure to attend our class 'lesson' on Thursday at 10.20am using the link on our google classroom.

    We will have our first 'sexuality' lesson and then I will explain your work (for Thursday 28th October - Wednesday 3rd November).

    Male Reproductive Systems.

    Female Reproductive Systems.

    • Fallopian tube - pair of tubes in which the egg travels from the ovaries to the uterus

    • Vagina - connects the uterus to the outside world, an elastic, muscular canal

    • Uterus - the organ in which a foetus grows

    • Cervix - the ring link muscle at the bottom of the uterus connecting it to the vagina

    • Ovary - where ova (eggs) are stored

    • Clitoris - the sexual stimulation organ in females

    • Urethra - tube that takes urine from the bladder out of the body

    • Ova - the egg cell

    • Vulva - the external area in females, containing the opening of the urethra
