    We will continue with our context this week.

    Learning Intention:

     We are learning how to stay safe in risk situations and step outside of our comfort zone. We will then learn the key aspects of sexuality and how our understanding is influenced by the media and beyond.

     

    Success Criteria
    • Define the different types of drugs
    • Understand the different aspects of the human reproductive systems
    • Understand the impact of recreational vs. non-recreational drugs and the choices we make in sexuality
    • Explore how the media can impact someone's well-being with respect to who they identify as.
    • Evaluate the topic of sexuality, media, and peer pressure

     

     


    Term 2 CONTEXT - War and Gore

    TUESDAY - In-class session

    We will continue with Alcohol today.

    1.) Short Term and Long Terms effects of alcohol on the body.

    2.) Laws and alcohol in society

    3.) Addiction > and how this impacts all aspects of Hauroa.

    We are now done our drugs and alcohol unit.  Before we move into Sexuality, we will look at a decision making model.

    THURSDAY - Practical sessions

    This will be a fitness based session as part of our context.
