    We will dive into our context this week

    Learning Intention:

     We are learning how to stay safe in risk situations and step outside of our comfort zone.

     

    Success Criteria

    • Define the different types of drugs
    • Understand the different skills involved in common sports
    • Understand the impact of recreational vs. non-recreational drugs
    • Explore how drugs impact society
    • Continue to practice specific sporting skills
    • Demonstrate the specific sporting skills during timed 'risky' situations
    • Evaluate the influence all drugs have on today's society

     

     


    Term 2 CONTEXT - Infinity and Beyond 

    TUESDAY - In-class session

    Alcohol

    1.) Types of Alcohol - can you name 5??  RTDs

    2.) Percentages and standard drinks.  Activity - pouring a standard drink.  What is a standard rink? 1 SD in an hour.

    3.)What is binge drinking then?     Females 4= drinks in one sitting.  Men = 5-6+ drinks in one sitting.

    5.) Impacts of Alcohol

    WEDNESDAY - Practical sessions

    We will play another game that uses the skills we are learning for our assessment.
