  • Kia ora 8F1, this week we will be continuing with term 2's context Superstars and will be focusing on improving your strength and fitness in preparation for your practical assessment outlined below.

    These are the assessment standards that we will be working towards in PE this term. 


    Movement skills (4B1)

    • Demonstrate consistency and control of movement in a range of situations.


    4B1

    • You have  developed movement skills

    • You have demonstrated control of movement skills

  • You have performed consistent control of movement skills

    • You have acquired and applied complex motor skills



    Fitness Test

    Standard

    Beep test

    Beyond: Level 9+

    Above: 7.1 - 8.11

    At: 5.2 - 7.0

    Press ups 1min

    Beyond: 35+

    Above: 20 - 34

    AT: 15 - 19

    Plank

    Beyond: 2:30+

    Above: 1:30 - 2:29

    AT: 1:00 - 1:29

    Wall Catch one hand to the other- 30 secs

    Beyond: 35+

    Above:30 - 34

    AT: 20 - 29

    Agility run

    Beyond: 10.5 or less

    Above: 10.6 - 11.5

    AT: 11.5 - 13


    We will do a number of activities in week 10 & 11 to prepare you for this assessment

    Success Criteria:

    I have achieved the standards met for each activity 

    Activities:

    1. Beep test, plank, push up's, wall catch and agility run - complete any still to be done
