    EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

    • We are EXPLORING Number across three levels depending on individual skills levels. For example - Number Levels 3, 4 and 5.
    • We are DISPLAYING our knowledge with a Ninja Quiz, and collating our results towards our Face Off Challenge.
    • We are EXPLORING a range of meaningful contexts so we can gain more specific knowledge and skills in number, measurement, geometry. algebra and statistics.
    • We are EXPLORING problem solving activities.
    • We are COLLABORATING with our peers and working together.
    • We are DISCOVERING maths is fun and everyone can do math to a high level.
    • We are DISCOVERING that everytime you learn something new, a new pathway develops in your brain. This means the more you learn the deeper the pathways become.
    • We are DISCOVERING how to develop these pathways to deepen our learning and that when your brain is struggling that is the best time to learn.
    • We are learning to DISPLAY a positive mindset in math.
