Kia ora...Students. For this week you will complete and present your souvenir , as part of a team.This must be relevant to New Zealand Theme/ Culture and Environment and links to sustainable tourism development.

Success Criteria: I can/have...
- worked well as part f a team to sketch an idea of a souvenir.
- Labels to indicate the parts and use of the souvenir
- Understood the materials required to make a model of this idea.
- Researched how to make the souvenir using youtube and wikihow.
- Created my model and show case the design to the class
Activities:
- Complete your sketch on the souvenir you had already stared on in week 4. Ensure you have labels thats indicate part and a detailed understanding of the use of your product.
- See video on souvenirs in New Zealand' s tourism industry. Do you think that local communities are supported with the design/ marketing and sales of this product.If so how, if not what can be done to ensure local community involvement.

- Research how to make your product using google wiki how or youtube.
- Bring in the materials and start designing. Each member of the team must have a role to play with this model.
- Your model must be presented to the class during week 9.
- Make sure you are doing your best effort with the creation and design of your work.
- In your presentation discuss how your ideas links with sustainable tourism ie appreciation of the cultures identity/ identities in NZ, involvement of local people and respect towards the environment.
