    • research and discovers who helps refugees
    • examine the role of the United Nations/ RED CROSS/ UNICEF/ World Vision/ doctors without borders discover what type of support is given
      • determine the location of where help is received
    • research statistics and interpret what these mean.
    • Create an infographic to showcase the role of these organisations

    • understood what are the role of non governmental organisations to support refugees

    Activities:

    1. See videos on RedCross/ World Vision/ Unicef/ doctors without borders. Take notes on important information. What are your views on these organisations
    2. By designing  an infographic : research the following: Name of organisation/logo/ how they help/ success stories/ statistics/ challenges/. This must have many visuals with writing descriptions.
    3. Think of the situation in New Zealand. What is the role of the NZ RED CRSOSS. How do they support refugees here. Where are the main locations for support. Where do they come from.
    4. What can we do as  global citizens to support refugees.
