    Learning Intentions: 

    I am learning to understand Number skills to solve basic and application type problems on Whole Numbers.

    Success Criteria: I can

    In a range of meaningful contexts, students will be engaged in thinking mathematically and statistically. They will solve problems and model situations 

    • by adding/subtracting whole numbers using Numeracy skills
    • by multiplying/dividing whole numbers using Numeracy skills
    • Learning to round to decimal places and significant numbers
    • finding common Factors.
    • Translating Songs into Maori including notes
    • Practice singing in Maori.
    • Understanding Notes used in music
    • Understanding powers and music
    • Understanding square roots and link to musical notes
    • Evaluate basic facts without using a Calculator 
    • I can understand how notes/chords are created and Maths behind it and create music 
    • I can write a Waiata using notes and Chords I have learnt in Maths
