  • Kia ora 8M1, this week we will will be focusing on assessing your baseline levels for the tests outlined below.

    8M1 Term 3 Assessment 1 

    These are the assessment standards that we will be working towards in PE this term. 

    Movement skills (4B1)

    • Demonstrate consistency and control of movement in a range of situations.

    • You have demonstrated control of movement skills

  • You have performed consistent control of movement skills

    • You have acquired and applied complex motor skills



    • Experience and demonstrate how science, technology, and the environment influence the selection and use of equipment in a variety of settings.

    • You have some understanding of how (science, technology, environment) influence the use of equipment in varying settings

    Beyond: Level 9+

    Above: 7.1 - 8.11

    At: 5.2 - 7.0

    Press ups 1min

    Beyond: 35+

    Above: 20 - 34

    AT: 15 - 19

    Wall Catch one hand to the other- 30 secs

    Beyond: 35+

    Above:30 - 34

    AT: 20 - 29

    30m Sprint test

    Beyond: < 5.0

    Above: 5.1 - 5.9

    AT: 6.0 - 6.9 


    We will do a number of activities throughout the term to prepare you for this assessment
