    This week we will use some class time work on your assessment that is due this week on 2 July, run the cross country course and play PE invasion games

    Learning intentions: We are learning to 

    • Understand the different types of food
    • Understand the food pyramid and nutrients
    • Understand food labels

    Success Criteria: 

    • I can/have identified the food groups and nutrients vital for a heathy body and lifestyle.
    • I can explain the food pyramid and the different nutrients
    • I can understand and read food labels

    Activities:

    1. Work on Food Label assessment 
    2. Various PE Games 
    3. Cross Country course

    Homework:

    Any unfinished work in class time becomes homework!!!


    • The students are to create a healthy well balanced morning tea and lunch and explain why they chose the different types of food using the information they have learned about nutrition.
