Kia ora all, Ms Wessels here. I am so looking forward to teaching you all for the remainder of the year. I love your spirit and willingness to learn, play and have fun, keep it up!
We will start looking at assessments in the next few weeks, so keep on being mindful of displaying interpersonal skills during your play and interactions with your classmates during PE games.
Learning Intention:
- How to demonstrate the six interpersonal skills (Effective communication, cooperation, supporting and encouraging others, inclusiveness, active participation, sportsmanship) during a team sport
- Learn how to play turbo touch/ ultimate frisbee
- These games combines coordination, working together as a team, concentration, fun and communication
Success Criteria:
- Demonstrated the six different interpersonal skills
- Participate in a game of ultimate frisbee/ turbo touch
- Demonstrate listening skills/concentration, coordination and working together
Activities:
- Play a game of ultimate frisbee/ turbo touch
