  • This week 2nd checkpoint is due


    1. Geography – discuss the geography of the country, talk about some major land formations /bodies of water found in this country (rainforests, lakes, rivers, oceans, mountain ranges, volcanoes, waterfalls), including names and pictures of places

    2. Demographics/People – population, nationality, ethnic groups, languages are spoken in the country, religions practised, and include pictures of people from your country

    3. Currency - the name of the currency, the exchange rate to NZ dollars, the picture of currency

    4. Capital – population of the city, the picture of the city, and at least one popular/historical destination one should see while visiting the city

    5. Two famous people from the country – name, date of birth, death date (if dead), why they are famous, the picture of the person

    6.  Three popular tourist destinations – include pictures, which makes it a popular destination, and any other interesting or important information about the destination
