During term two Coast are exploring the idea of change, systems, and development by focusing on the scientific method. This enables students to identify how the scientific method is used to clarify understandings about how the world works.

This assessment requires you to present your science fair in a report form to be assessed on multiple aspects by different learning areas.

The part being assessed for Science will be the creation of a research question, supported by research in your introduction, and the construction of a method which aligns with your research question and will enable you to provide data for whether your hypothesis is supported or not.

The part being assessed for Maths will be the construction of a graph and conclusions drawn from this.
