    Welcome back to school and your senior years at MHJC. We will continue your PEH learning journey by enhancing each students’ sense of self-worth through learning to think critically about health-related and movement contexts. You learn that well-being is a combination of the physical, mental and emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of your own and others' lives.

    I look forward to teaching you and seeing each and everyone of you grow your greatness through PEH in 2021.

    Please remember your PE gear, hat and a water bottle for all your PE sessions. We will meet in M11 each lesson and then go and get changed for the lesson, please do not change in whanau.

    This week we will continue look at different muscles and joints used whilst throwing and catching and how to develop your throw by using the correct muscle groups. We will further develop your throwing, catching and striking skills by playing T Ball.

    Thursday:  Please bring your PE gear and HATS!!! We will be playing T Ball and looking at the skills and techniques required, making sure to engage the correct muscle groups.

    Welcome back to term 4, I trust you have all enjoyed a well deserved break and are refreshed and ready to take on the exciting term that lies ahead!

     

    Within this term's context Dragon's Den, we will be focussing on and exploring the dangers of Drugs & Alcohol and the threats that they pose to teenagers as you explore the world around you. 

    We will be focussing on the following AO's as we delve into the the plethora of information on drugs and alcohol, the dangers that students face in navigating a world that has so many choices and influences. You will also gain an understanding of the appropriate age and scenarios when consumption is okay.

    This week we will begin exploring New Zealand Alcohol & Drug Awareness in preparation for your assessment that we will be working on over the next 3 weeks. (Due 12 November)
